New Smallholding magazine is a straightforward publication dedicated to authentic smallholders—individuals who manage properties of at least an acre and aspire to achieve a sustainable livelihood, deriving both income and personal fulfillment from land-based pursuits. The magazine offers in-depth stories that highlight the experiences and passions of engaged smallholders. It provides regular coverage on the management of poultry, pigs, and various crops, with a dedicated section focusing on sheep, goats, and alpacas.

This is a free app download; however, downloading the app does not include a complimentary issue unless explicitly stated. The current and past issues, as well as future editions, are available for purchase within the application.

Subscriptions can be arranged directly through the app. Upon subscribing, the latest issue will be accessible for immediate download.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled more than 24 hours prior to the renewal date. Charges for renewal will be applied within 24 hours of the current subscription period’s end at the same rate. Users can disable auto-renewal via their account settings; however, cancellations cannot be made during an active subscription period. Payment is processed through your iTunes account at the time of purchase, and any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon subscribing.

Users are encouraged to create or log into a Pocketmags account within the app to safeguard their purchased issues and enable cross-device access. Existing Pocketmags users can retrieve their previous purchases by logging into their account.

To ensure proper functionality, it is recommended to open the app while connected to a Wi-Fi network for initial data download. If the app remains stuck on the splash screen after installation or update, please tap the settings icon, select Settings, then choose Refresh App Data. If issues persist, deleting and reinstalling the app from the App Store may resolve the problem.
